The Smooth Groove skillfully controls the mood during the course of an evening by breaking down into various configurations from solo piano, to a jazzy trio, a funky quintet and then back up into a tight high energy funk and soul outfit with a brassy three-piece horn section aligning itself with some of Australia’s most successful function band.
